Over a period of about 7 years I experienced a series of profound losses including losing my business, my home, my parents and even my sense of a “normal” brain, due to a car accident. The impact was overwhelming.   

Grief, trauma and the brain injury left me strangely hollow of my sense of self.  Even though I had many trauma informed tools in my life kit,  I struggled to find my way forward. I was mired in alarmed aloneness;  a term coined by Neuroscience expert Sarah Peyton to explain the often unnamed and unseen element of aloneness at the heart of all trauma. When we address alarmed aloneness, the nervous system can organize itself toward healing in ways that might not have been possible before. This is a life changing understanding, among many, that catapulted my healing journey with Resonance Healing™ work.
