Grief Recovery
Heal from Loss
Finding Your Way Forward
Just as life is filled with amazing joys and accomplishments, it is also filled with unexpected and sometimes destabilizing losses. We know our parents will die… someday, but that doesn’t make it any less heart wrenching when we are faced with their declining mental and physical health. For me that day came when my father had a stroke and my mother was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer within months of each other.
My insides still tremble with tenderness for the fragility and vulnerability that I saw in my parents as we moved them from their home to assisted care to hospice. My relationship to my mother and father were complex in different ways and I was completely unprepared for the impact that their passing would have on me. I felt untethered and struggled to have the energy to focus, socialize, do the endless tasks of running a business and build a new life after relocating to California.
And, what I know now is that I kept underestimating how much energy grieving takes and how much support I really needed. We live in a culture that trains us to be independent, self-sufficient, and in general does not know how to be with grief, sadness or sorrow. As a hospice volunteer I held the space for many people who experiencing how painfully alone they felt with their loss because their friends and families simply didn’t know what to say or do. And that is so understandable in a culture that hasn’t taught us how to hold grief together.
I too grew up in a family that didn’t do emotions much less grief, so it wasn’t until I was introduced to Compassionate Communication and then Resonance Healing work that I experienced the deep relief of being held through loss, no matter how long ago that loss happened. The key is to not be alone with the burdens we carry.
You may have experienced multiple kinds of losses in your life. Losses come in so many forms and ways. Both TRE and Resonance Healing can offer a way forward to both honor the meaning of your life experience and help you move through the grief at a gentle pace that feels right for you.

“While working with Kristi, I experienced her innate ability to truly listen and capture the deeper essence of what’s being communicated. This brought me back into alignment with myself while opening freedom and capacity to handle life’s challenges…Kristi’s work touched me at all levels and helped me get back into Life. What a blessing to look back and notice my progress – my stress levels were alleviated, I was more resourceful in the workplace, and I was able to safely and securely move through big emotions that were holding me back from achieving my goals.”
